The cemetery is not regulated or financially supported by the church. It has it's own Board of Directors. It is totally supported by the sale of plots and donations to the North Carolina Cemetery Fund. We want this fund to be a perpetual source of support for the care of the cemetery. All donations are very much appreciated.

Donations to the cemetery fund can be made to:

"The Old Bell"

Back in the early days of the cemetery, there were no "hired" grave diggers. When a grave needed to be dug, the bell would be rung and could be heard all over the community. The men would come and hand dig the grave with picks and shovels. The last time the bell was rang for a grave digging was probably in the early 60"s.

The  old bell still hangs in the cemetery but is only rung now on Decoration Day as a tribute to all the loved ones who have passed on.

The entrance to the cemetery from county road 34.
